MLM Prospecting is not a new term and every network marketer is doing it to some extent, whether offline or online.

The question is, how many understand what they are doing? Well, only a handful. And why is that so?

Before you think of generating qualified leads for your opportunity, these are the 5 questions you must ask yourself:
  1. What problem does the product I am promoting solve i.e. is there enough demand?
  2. How does this problem affect my potential prospect, meaning, are they bothered to solve the problem?
  3. Why should these mlm prospects look to me for answers versus someone else?
  4. What is the best language my prospect understands i.e. how does my prospect want to be spoken to?
  5. What would get these potential prospects to put out their credit cards for my product/opportunity?
It is that simple. REALLY. Anyone who has been in any sales career for any amount of time understands that this is the back bone of selling. You leave out the prospect, you are out.

You just need to walk a mile in your prospects' shoes. If you can answer these critical questions, then your efforts will pay off. Real Big.

If you are providing a legitimate product/ system/ tool/ opportunity, you should have no problem at all if you follow these simple rules. This is even very critical in the network marketing industry where most people are out there to make a quick buck.
