Network Marketing

During your first year in network marketing, how much can you achieve? What realistic expectations should you have from your mlm business?

Is it possible to fire your boss, become financially free, support your favourite charity in a few months just as you were promised when you got started?

Listen carefully......

Forget about all the hype and get rich quick empty promises. You are illusioned if you think you will be successful overnight.

Don't get me wrong. It is very possible to achieve great things during your first year in network marketing depending on different factors....BUT for most people, it does not usually happen like that.

Whether you are going after your warm market or using the internet and other ways to generate prospects, there is definitely a learning curve you must go through.

Most network marketers give up immediately. After attending one or two hotel meetings, showing the plan to a few individuals and no one signs up just like they were promised, they give up.

What You Must Do During Your First Year In Network Marketing

  1. Develop a business mindset: Network marketing is a business just like any other. It is as simple as that. It is not like winning a lottery.
  2. Be ready to solve problems: When you are an entrepreneur, you should solve one problem after another. Network marketing has its own challenges. You must be willing to solve these without giving up or blaming others especially your upline.
  3. Set realistic and achievable goals: It won't happen overnight. Depending on your circumstances don't set up very high standards which you will not be able to achieve. This will only lead to frustrations.
  4. Stay in consistent action: Most network marketers start off with a lot of energy, then relax. This is very dangerous. You must stay in consistent action day in and day out.
  5. Training: Attend events, understand the company, products and compensation plan. Most importantly, there is one skill which is going to give you the most money in our industry- MARKETING. You must learn how to market your opportunity/products without appearing to be like a desperate sales man.

Your first year in network marketing should be a learning experience for you. This is your foundation. You will tweak and make a few changes here and there. If you are going to use the internet, this should be time to set up your platform.

It is possible to make money here and there, but for most people, they don't get that consistent cash flow immediately. This is nothing to worry about. You are setting up your foundation.

If you stay focused and in consistent action, within 3-5 years, you should be able to achieve your goals in network marketing.

During your first in network marketing, avoid doing things which are not in-line with your personality. Don't take advantage of people and sign them up because you need to make a quick buck. This will live to haunt. Tell the people the truth and what it takes to be in network marketing. Even if they don't join, these are the people who will come to join
