How have you been? I guess very well and fantastic. That is how life should be. For those of you who are enjoying summer, don't let the sun scotch you.

Back to business my friend.

Something shocked me last week and I thought I would share it with you. I hate to tell you this, but I have to. Enough is enough! Here is the ugly truth about your mlm company. Many network marketing companies are misleading their distributors.

Yes. Your mlm company could be brainwashing you.

Last week I received a "Tip" from one of the prominent network marketing companies which shocked me. I have been so much engrossed in InterNetwork Marketing that I tend to forget what I was being taught a few months ago. It is so shocking to see some teachings still going on in our network marketing industry.

If you are a leader and you are not looking at the trends, all I can say is, wake up. Soon or later, you will have no followers. Why? Because they will look for someone who teaches them strategies that are in touch with current realities.

Can you believe that there are leaders who are still teaching such to their distributors. This exact statement came from one of the most popular mlm companies.

"Don’t try to reinvent the wheel. This is a tough one for most people. But it is in your and your downline's best interest to use the proven things that got you and your upline to where you are."

Do you believe this statement? This breaks my heart. I still see distributors spinning around being despised from every angle. Most distributors are still pitching their opportunity to those not concerned at all. Quite funny. Isn't it?

Of course, if your wheel is working, it is okay. As for me, it was very clear that my wheel needed reinventing. The sooner you realise that your upline does not have to hold your hand to make you succeed, the better for you and your business. Can you imagine where I would be if I followed this teaching? I had run out of prospects. I was losing friends. My health was at risk because of rejection.

My future has never looked brighter. In fact of recent, I have started integrating Google AdSense on my site because I have enough traffic. This is yet another additional income stream. Win-win for everybody. Even people who will never join my business make money for me because they will click on those ads.

Think about it. It is only yesterday when media like MySpace, YouTube and FaceBook meant nothing. Right now, huge organisations are being built from there.Are you watching the trends? Are you taking the necessary steps? If you have downlines, what training are you giving them?

You must know that systems are duplicable, people are not. Allow people to test and see what works best for them. If you are good with your warm market, it is okay. Give all options to your team so that they see what is best for them. That is the basis of team work.

I now have achievements to be proud of since I turned my back to my upline’s teachings. Of course I keep the good ideas and ignore those which don't fit my style. By nature, I am a very honest person. It was very hard for me "to fake it till I made it". In less than seven months, I have achieved much more than I ever did in my years of network marketing.

I can't imagine what the future holds for me and my team.

There is one thing that I definitely agree with. Network marketing is a numbers game. Are you filling your pipeline with fresh prospects every other day? Look at my site, I talk with hundreds of people every month. I don't have to be there, of course. My systems sort out for me so that I spend time with those who need my help.

What activities are worth your time and effort? What should you be doing in this modern era?

Evaluate yourself. See which area needs improvement. Start putting up systems that put your opportunity in front of those interested. Could be blogs, websites, leadcapture pages, whatever meets your style.

Choose a few forums and social media and start adding value to people's lives. Start writing articles about your niche and distribute them freely( send me a note if you want the best places where you will get the best for your effort). Place ads online and in local news papers. Start becoming expert over the phone. Continue reading educational materials. Why? Because leaders are readers, so what are you reading these days?

One tip for you. Be consistent. Don't jump from one activity to the other. It is going to take time BUT it is time well spent. Soon or later, you will have prospects and you will find it hard to keep up.

Here is your starting point. Set SMART Goals.
S- Specific
M-Measurable
A-Achievable
R-Realistic
T-Time( Set time frame)

Stick to your goals. Have daily goals/short term and long plans. Just know that good things don't just come so easily. Keep on your blinders. Don't be distracted by these get rich quick schemes. Again, keep your eyes open for any opportunity which will improve your business.

The others are the best price you can ever get. Bookmark the rest for later. I highly recommend them if you are to take your business to the next level.
