That is one of the reasons I have been so busy doing private coaching. Those of you who had a private conversation with me, I hope you found it helpful. Here is Mary's dilemma ...

"I am spinning my wheels. I find it very difficult to convince people. I find it hard to make them see the vision and believe in network marketing. I have been in network marketing for some time with very little success. How can I make these people see the beauty in the network marketing industry".

Mary (not real name) is not alone. This is one of the challenges most network marketers face.

Whether you are approaching your warm market, whether you are attracting people to yourself through a website/blog/capture page/offline.. whatever method you are using, provided you are still CONVICING people to see the vision, I am afraid you will drop out soon or later. You must get the principles of this business. You have to be open to a new mindset.

The sad bit is that most Gurus like Senator McCain "Still Don't Get It"
Can you believe this is the title of one of the materials on the website of one prominent guru in our industry?

"Convince Even The Most Sceptical That M.L.M is the Best Business Model".

It is a fact. Network marketing still remains the best choice for the average person BUT saying it the best model without looking at an individual is INSANE. Think about it. Not everyone should be a Doctor, Engineer, Teacher, however powerful those professions are! Same with network marketing. Most network marketers actually give this "sorry" look to anyone who refuses to be convinced to take up their opportunity.

God knows I love network marketing with all my heart. It is one of the best businesses looking at our economy crisis. But I am very careful when choosing the people I partner with. I have to make sure that they have already convinced themselves. I no longer have the energy, patience and time to convince anyone. I tried that strategy during those years when I was doing this business in ignorance.

Believe me, convincing does not work. Not if you are in this business for the long haul. This page shows you how I use a whole different strategy. Look out for the form at the bottom of this page.

, you don't have to convince anybody. Here is why....

People do things for their own reasons. The moment you start convincing people, you come out a desperate sales man who needs to make a quick buck. And do you know what? Very few people trust salesmen. They twist your arm and make you buy things you don't need. I remember one time when this guy made me buy a pair of shoes, one size smaller than my usual size! You don't want to be like that.

You want to be a Professional; A Consultant; A Buddy, who genuinely helps people solve their needs with no hidden agenda.

The key here is to get information first.

  • Does your prospect have a need/problem?
  • Are they willing to solve that need?
  • Do they have what it takes in terms of money, time & commitment?
  • Would your offer genuinely help them solve their problem?
  • From here, you go to the next step. If they don't qualify, don't bother with your presentation. Thank them for their time. Go to do activities that will bring more qualified prospects to you.

If they qualify, this is what you want to do. Give them information to show how your offer will solve their problem. If they have a concern, don't try to defend yourself. Walk a mile in their shoes and help them out of confusion. At the end of the presentation, feel free to ask the most important question. Check the words I use...

" Is there any reason why you should not get started on your exciting journey to achieve your XYZ goals?"

Sounds simple? I know. But this strategy is so powerful. It will make your prospects trust you and want to do business with you. It will help you 'weed' out those who want to waste your time. Most importantly, you will have peace of mind. How wonderful it is to know that you are not manipulating any one!

, this gentleman will help you understand my point better. Last week he found our team website and joined our team on autopilot. When I got to talk to him, I discovered that for over 10 years, he had been approached to join network marketing. In all the hotel meetings that he had been dragged into, he felt like he was being tricked to sign up. This is what he said in his own words ..

"You don't trick people. It will eventually come back to haunt you".

And he is right. That is why our industry has such a bad image.

Could this be causing you to lose your potential prospects. Do you lack professionalism. Are you convincing people to join you so that you make a quick buck? Are you becoming a nuisance without knowing it? Are you still chasing strangers in planes and bus stops, convincing them that mlm is what they need?

It is time to wake up and face reality before it is too late. I don't care how much money you are making but if people just sign up so that they get their peace, I don't know how you will live with that guilt.

Does all this sound strange? You are not alone. It took me some time to develop this new mindset. My eyes were opened after reading the renegade. I go through it every month. If you don't have this copy yet, you may need to get yourself one. Click here to download it Today.

You see, in network marketing or any business at that, you are dealing with people. People who have needs. With the current economic crisis, everyone is looking for an another source of income. If you could only show them how to do it, you will smile all the way to the bank. Network marketing is a wonderful opportunity but you don't convince people. You lead with information and let people make their sound decisions

, when you create a bond with your prospects. When you give them genuine value before convincing them of your opportunity. When you walk a mile in their shoes, you will start enjoying the beauty of this industry
