Do You Really Have The Right Entrepreneur Mindset To Succeed?

Well, I just thought I should shoot you an e-mail and tell you what has been weighing heavily on my mind.

Do you have the entrepreneur mindset needed to succeed in any business?

This is a wake up call and a friendly reminder

Not until you develop this mind set, you will keep struggling in your business. You will always be blown away by anything. You will keep spending money on things that you don't need because others have bought them.. And worst of all, you will achieve nothing but emptiness.

Ideally, entrepreneurs know what they want and they are always on the lookout for any chance to get it. The interesting thing is, they can easily tell when that particular thing is offered.

Do you REALLY know what you want? In a moment, you will evaluate yourself and see what you must start doing right away to develop this mindset.

Please allow me to share with you a little bit of my path towards success. And... in all the truth, it has not been an easy journey, and it continues...

I started network marketing because I had been looking. I really wanted a business. I was tired of living pay check to check.. Given my personality, from the presentation I was given, it was clear network marketing was the perfect business for me.

SEE.. I had been looking and I knew that I needed a business though I was not sure which one. I didn't just jump on the bandwagon. And, I looked for the money right away after that presentation(it was not little money).

Now, when my business hit a dead end, I was sure of one thing.. I lacked qualified people to talk too, people who were looking like I had been looking.

Even though my upline was telling me that I never had belief in the company and its products, deep down inside of me, I knew my problem. It was crystal clear in my mind.

God led me to the Internet. Oh my God! There are thousands of products, motivational CD's, professional inviters, one on one presentation mastery courses, phone mastery pieces... you can name it. I did not pick any of them.

My main problem was getting interested prospects..

When I landed upon the renegade system.. I knew my search was over. It promised that I would get prospects calling me.. this promise was too good to be true.

Though I was new on the web, the desire to succeed was so strong that I had to risk. I was as sceptical as anyone can be. Worse still, I never had a credit card then... but remember "where there is a will, there is a way". So I bought the book. Thankfully, the renegade system over delivered.

I was offered a free consultation by one expert who had used the system before. There are so many recommendations within that system. I was wondering where to start from... I can't tell how happy I was to get that consultant.

According to the information I got, it was clear I needed to build a website through SBI if I was to solve my biggest challenge forever, my challenge of getting prospects. What a huge task looking at what I knew about the Internet.

Again, this expert analysed where I was coming from. She suggested that I needed a mentor. I needed a master mind group..

It all made sense. As an entrepreneur, I had to think about these suggestions and make quick decisions.

I jumped in with both feet. It was not very easy. But I was more than willing to do whatever I could to succeed. Thank God I had a mentor who was pointing me to the right direction. She held my hand. She taught me how to use the consultative approach, how to do business like a pro..

Why I am telling you this?

Here is why...

In this life, there is no short cut. There is no get rich quick scheme, not in network marketing or any business. In my experience, every time I tried to get rich quick, I was disappointed.

If you want to shorten the curve, it is good to look for a reliable mentor.

True, some systems are easier than others but you have to work hard. You have to separate yourself from the crowd. Above all, no one should live your life. You must be able to tell what is good for you.

These are 5 indispensible traits of true entrepreneurs:

• They don't procrastinate.

  Entrepreneurs make instant decisions and they are responsible for their actions. Don't imagine that they don't think about their decisions. They do and reach conclusions very quickly.... You know why, because people who always wait pick what others have left behind.

Are you a procrastinator?

• They take calculated risks.

  Yes. This saying can't be more true. "Your life is not yourr until you risk it". There are some people who have been bargaining to buy educational books online for over a century.. surprisingly, they have the money.. but they don't know if it is worth it.

  And do you know the interesting bit, most of those materials go for peanuts and have 100% money-back guarantee.

• They keeping adding value to themselves. This helps them to get what they can teach others. And, they freely share useful information..

  When was the last time you added value to yourself?

• They don't always seek approval and second opinion. Now, don't get me wrong. We should always listen to our mentors BUT if you find that for every decision someone has to approve, I don't know but you still have a long way to go.

  Do you know why some people behave like that? It's because they want to please everybody, the want to be perfect..

  True entrepreneurs know that they can make mistakes but they will always learn from their mistakes.

• They don't easily change their minds or move from one business to another. And of course, true entrepreneurs do what they love.

So, if I may ask, where do you want to be in 5-10years? If you are in network marketing or any business at that, what systems are you putting in place? Do you know where you are coming from and where you want to be? Are you getting the right guidance?

If you keep doing what you are doing right now, will it take you where you want to be? If yes, that is very good. If NOT seriously think about what you need to do..

And, here is my unsolicited advice...

If you watch the trends, everything is going online. If you jump in right now, you are going to be ahead of your competitors.

If there are some decisions you are taking so long to make, may be you want to buy a book, may be you want to start a business, maybe you want to call people, time waits for no man. Start right NOW.

Just go ahead and do that one thing that you think will change your life. I will also do my part to help you succeed...

The good thing is; if you are smart, you will toil today AND relax tomorrow. But if you relax today...if you keep doing activities that don’t' matter so much today, you will pay the price tomorrow.
