Is free mlm advertising really free? Well, It depends on what you call free. For the sake of our discussion, we shall take free to mean "no money involved".
Many people who have used these methods confess that they are not free after all. Why? Because they consume a lot of time. But.. If you are on a limited budget, this is the way to go.

Social media sites allow people to submit their content and other people are free to comment. I guess it is also called web 2.0 (I stand to be corrected!!). These sites include MySpace, Facebook, Digg, Stumbleupon, YouTube and many more... So, how do people get to your site? Simple. You include a link back you your site. When these visitors click on it, they end on your site.. Some network marketers say that social media is more of a curse than a blessing.
Why? Because: - The traffic generated is not targeted
- Once on the site, they click on nothing
- Worse still, they never opt in the list... that the conversion rate is about 0.001%
- One Internet pro said that such a swarm of useless traffic can crush your server (Is this true?....)
So, is Free Network Marketing Advertising Surely Useless? Far from it. This is what the fans have to say. "Social media is manna from above". Some network marketers have really been happy with the results. This is their story: - We have never bought leads.

So where is the problem with social media? Why do some fail and others succeed?
Well, just the same reason why most people fail and others succeed in real life. You must know the 'how'.

- Don't intimidate any one. Some people present themselves like "I know it all". I guess you know this trait puts people off.
- Your marketing pieces must be above average. You may get all the traffic.. But if your landing pages are just average, you traffic will do nothing but crush your server!!!!
- Give them an incentive to opt in your list like a free online course...
I am confident of one thing: However ugly the results from free network marketing advertising are,
you can't compare them with word of mouth... You are far ahead of very many if you have started with any kind of advertising. Some network marketers are still bugging their friends and family.
